Home of the Indian Terracotta
is an attempt at providing a web -site for all those who are fascinated
by the " Indian Terracotta".
We aim to cover all areas of life and culture of India that are in anyway
at all touched by the activities surrounding the production and use of
terracotta objects. These can vary from the manufacture of bricks, panels,
roof tiles and other functional wares all the way to the creation of icons,
toys, figurines and of course modern fine art pieces.
Other areas of interest to us are books, publications, exhibitions, web
sites and any activity remotely related to the subject of Indian Terracotta.We
would also strive to educate through organising exhibitions and seminars/
workshops on the subject.
